- Photos are engraved on 1/8 inch thick solid wood (not plywood or MDF)
- Both frame options can be hung or displayed on a flat surface and are 5/8 inches thick
- Modern frame is hardened black plastic that comes with an optional snap on easel
- Modern frame has a 1/16 inch wide edge on the front
- Classic frame is MDF wood painted black with easel attached
- Classic frame has a 5/8 inch wide edge on the front
- Your choice of text and font

Wood is a natural product and each piece is different. Some pieces may be lighter or darker and will have more or less grain. You will see some of the natural grain and beauty of the wood come through. This is what makes each piece unique and desirable.

Photo Details:

1. High resolution. Lower resolution can work but nothing less than 300dpi please.
2. Contrast makes for great engravings.
3. If choosing a photo with more than one face, it's best if the subjects are close together.
4. The photo should have extra room on all sides of the subject(s). This will ensure that when we crop the photo to fit, nothing will get cut out.
5. Photos that are extra light or extra dark will not turn out as great as other photos.
6. An out-of-focus or blurry picture will engrave out of focus or blurry.
7. Photos will engrave landscape or portrait depending on the photo.
8. All text will engrave landscape.
